How to order at Starbucks

    I worried about what topic should I pick up long time, finally I will tell how to order at Starbucks. That’s because in university of Tsukuba there is a brunch of Starbucks, and a lot of students use it and enjoy it. So I think if I tell how to order at Starbucks, people will be able to enjoy it more. That’s why I decided to tell how to order at Starbucks.

     At first, I will tell you about basic information about Starbucks. In Japan, we can use and enjoy Starbucks all prefecture except Tottori. Japan has more than ten hundred branches of Starbucks. And Tokyo and Okinawa have brunches of Starbucks particularly. And there are brunches of Starbucks all over the world. So you can try my talking things a lot of place.

      Next I will tell you about drink. Starbucks has a lot of kinds of drinks, and sizes. There are Short, Tall, Grande and Venti size in Japan. Short size has 236ml, Tall size has 354ml, Grande size has 473 ml and Venti size has 591 ml. In addition, it will be tall size’s price and Grande size’s price are different by 40 yen. Next I will tell you how to order your favorite drinks. When you order, first you should say the size, and next should say what you would like to drink, next you order what you would like to customize. That’s because above process is used by server actually. So if you can order above process, you can tell the order smoothly. I recommend it. 

   
      Next I will tell you about how to customize. Starbucks has a lot of kinds of customize menu. There are not only topping that order by extra charge, but also there are free topping. For example, you can order caramel and chocolate sauce. You can also increase and decrease powder (for example green tea powder) that already have been ingredient.  Look like this you can increase and decrease the inherent ingredient for example you can change drink non caffeine, change the quantity of whip cream. And you also can change normal milk for non-fat milk and low fat milk for free. And you can also condiment bar for free. The condiment bar is held nearby casher, and there are all kinds of powders and honey. You can use these by yourself.

    Of course there are topping that can order by extra charge. If you would like to plus topping that is not innate, you will be charged extra money. For example if you order green tea latte, and if you want to chocolate chip you will be charged extra money. Nevertheless you can change milk for all milk, and increase green tea powder for free. (Starbucks latte use water and milk one to one.) So if you would like to drink that match you, I recommend that use free and not free topping.

     
     Last, I will tell you two drink that I really recommend. One is the green tea latte that change milk for all milk. That drink is very sweet. I recommend this for who like green tea and sweet food. The other is also green tea. That is green tea Frappuccino that plus chocolate cookie and caramel sauce, and increase green tea powder and whip cream. That is also very sweet. But I like this very much and would like to share it.

The Talk

(Tomokaze and Kiyoshi are going shopping.)

“Hey Tomokaze, look at that section,” Kiyoshi said.

“Wow, there are a lot of kinds of animals!!” Tomokaze said.

“Yeah, that is fantastic!!”Kiyoshi got excited.

“Hey Tomokaze, I have never seen this animal,” Kiyoshi asked.

“This is a chameleon,”Tomokaze answered.

“Oh! This is a chameleon. It is so cute!” Kiyoshi said.

“Cute? Are you nuts?” Tomokaze asked.

“It looks very cute to me. I feel I want to have chameleon for pet,” Kiyoshi said.

“Wow, you are crazy!” Tomokaze said.

“By the way, do you have any kind of pet?” Kiyoshi asked.

“No. How about you?” Tomokaze answered.

“I have two cats, they are so cute,” Kiyoshi answered.

“Wow. Is it busy to care for your pets?” Tomokaze asked.

“Not at all. I always care for my pets with happiness, so I don’t feel busy,” Kiyoshi answered.

“Oh! You are enjoying caring for your pets!!” Tomokaze said.

“Do you want to have some pets?” Kiyoshi asked.

“Ah…no,” Tomokaze answered.

“Why? It is so fun!” Kiyoshi said.

“I don’t think so” Tomokaze said.

“Huh?! Why? Do you hate animals?” Kiyoshi asked.

“No. I like animals. I like cat particularly,” Tomokaze said.

“Oh I see. What about having a cat?” Kiyoshi asked.

“I don’t want to have a cat,”Tomokaze answered.

“Huh??! Why? You told me that you like cat, didn’t you?” Kiyoshi said.

“Oh…but I don’t want to have a cat,” Tomokaze said.

“Why!?” Kiyoshi asked.

“That is because I like animals and cats, but I don’t want to care for animals. It looks like very boring,” Tomokaze said.

“As I do, you will be able to enjoy it!” Kiyoshi said.

“Really?” Tomokaze said.

“At First, I also thought that I didn’t want to care for animal. But now, I really enjoy it,” Kiyoshi said.

“Oh! I see!” Tomokaze answered.

“Did what I said make you want to have a cat?” Kiyoshi asked.

“Ah… I have another concern,” Tomokaze said.

“What?” Kiyoshi asked.

“I concern that there are many trouble. For example, a cat scratches and scatters wallpaper,” Tomokaze said.

“Oh! Don’t worry,” Kiyoshi said.

“Oh! Really?” Tomokaze said.

“If you train cat, it will not scratch and scatter,” Kiyoshi said.

“But that training sounds difficult for me,” Tomokaze said.

“Don’t worry, it is easy to do. There are a lot of books that teach us how to tame cats, so you can do it! ”Kiyoshi said.

“Oh!! That is enough to encourage me to have cat! I persuade my parents to permit having a cat right now!” Tomokaze said.

“Wow! It is good news for me!” Kiyoshi said.

“Thank you Kiyoshi!” Tomokaze said.

“You are welcome! If you have pet, please show me! ” Kiyoshi said.

“Of course!” Tomokaze said.
