Recollection of TO-DO list

     

        I would like to talk about TO-DO by March list that I made in this April. In that TO-DO list I set To ski, To go abroad, To live alone, To climb Mt. Tsukuba, To get driver’s license, To start a part-time job, To get a high score on TOEIC, To level up my Double Dutch and tennis skills, To become the person that who can make a speech in front of many people and To be friends with all freshman who belong to the social engineering department.

To ski

     I wanted to go skiing. And I also want to go skiing now. But I could not achieve this objective until now. So I plan to go skiing next January with my friends that planed to go together before.

To go abroad

     This objective is also not achieved until now. And I also want to go abroad now. So I want to go abroad in second grade or third grade. It will be sure to be busy at forth grade, I hope to go until forth grade. For example I want to go US that I visited two years ago. I want to go a lot of places that I could not go at that time.

To live alone

     Now, I live alone in Tsukuba. So I achieved that objective. But I want to improve the ability of living alone. For example, increasing the recipe and doing house work efficient. Now I usually cook by myself but I have not many recipes. So I want to improve it.

To climb Mt. Tsukuba

     I climbed Mt. Tsukuba two times in this summer, so I achieved this objective. We really enjoyed climbing. So we climbed Mt. Tsukuba two times.

 

To get driver’s license

     I plan to get driver’s license in this year. I achieved this objective at license training camp in this summer. At this camp I felt mental pain. That is because we were crammed. I think I do not want to go this camp any more. Throughout standing mental pain, finally I could get driver’s license. I would like to drive car very much.

To start a part-time job

     I wanted to start part-time job. And I began to start part-time job at this December. I started the English teacher of cram school. Now I am still in training course. So I want to try hard to learn the job and be considered good teacher by everyone.

To get a high score on TOEIC

     I planed to study hard and get a high score on TOEIC. But I could not study English at all and did not take TOEIC. So I decide to change my mind, and I want to start study at New Year.

To level up my Double Dutch and tennis skills

     I planed to skill up in Double Dutch and tennis. But nowadays, I cannot join circle of those. So I could not achieve this objective. So I also want to change my mind to do what o decided.

To become the person that who can make a speech in front of many people

     I planed to become the person that who can make a speech in front of many people. I think I could achieve this objective. Now I have a lot of opportunity of speaking in front of many people. So I am used to speech in front of many people gradually. So I want to improve this skill much more.

To be friends with all freshmen who belong to the social engineering department.

     I hoped to be friends with all freshmen who belong to the social engineering department. Of course I did not achieve this. But I have a lot of friends in the social engineering department. So I am satisfied now.

After all I can achieve five objectives until now. I want to continue to try hard to achieve these objectives.

		We plan to be held the party with Jack Welch, Matsusita Kounosuke, Otsubo Fumio, Jon Manjiro, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Song Masayoshi, and Yanai Tadashi. Jack Welch is American manager. He was CEO of GE. His ability in management is very famous and he is often called “Legendary manager”. Matsusita Kounosuke was Japanese manager. He was CEO of Panasonic. He establish Matsushita group that is predecessor of Panasonic in one generation. And he is famous as God of manager. Otsubo Fumio is current Panasonic CEO. And Panasonic is facing serious problem of management. Jon Manjiro was Japanese great man. He had vision of future and accept American culture and influenced a lot of Japanese people. Bill Gates is American businessman and famous for establishing Microsoft. He is also famous for extremely rich person and economizer. Mark Zuckerberg is American programmer and businessman. He is famous for establishing Facebook and CEO of Facebook. Song Masayoshi is Japanese businessman. And he is famous for CEO of Softbank. And he is also known as the richest person in Japan. Yanai Tadashi is Japanese businessman and known as CEO of Fast Retailing. And he is also unaffiliated director of Softbank.     We plan to sit this arrange. Two blanks are expected to our seats. Next I would like to talk about how we decided arrange.     First, we would like to arrange Mr. Matsushita and Mr. Otsubo to Face-to-face. That is because these two are the CEO of Panasonic (the first and the seventh).Nowadays Japanese electric companies (including Panasonic9 are facing a lot of serious problems in management. We would like to listen to detail situation of Panasonic and to hear their opinions of these problems and their discussion over the generation. That is sure to be interesting. And we expect Mr. Jack and Mr. Mark to join this discussion. If they join this discussion, the discussion is expected to be more and more interesting. We would like to listen to discussion that is joined by “God” and “Legend” in management and the young who have clear vision and activeness.     Second, we would like to listen to talk between Mr. Mark and Mr. Jon. That is because these two are the people who have clear focus to the future and ability to take action.  So we would like to listen to the talk about what have clear focus and taking action.     Third, we would like to listen to the talk about management theory and how to use money among Mr. Bill, Mr. Yanai and Mr. Song. They are good managers, so we would like to listen to their talk about management and they are also famous for rich man. So we hope to listen to how to use their money. That would be interesting, because their ways are surly different. For example Mr. Bill is very frugal, so we will be able to listen to the conflict.     And, we plan to change seat to extract their interesting talk according to circumstance.  　　Guests are only Americans and Japanese. So, we would like them to enjoy each country’s food. Telling guests from other country explanations about their country’s food, they can have a very nice chat, we think. If it is difficult to speak English or Japanese, there is a very nice helper. He is John Manjiro. He can interpret. 　　Next, we should consider each person’s likes and dislikes. As you know, Bill Gates is the man on the top of a list of millionaires, but, surprisingly, he likes fast food! He is said to be a frugal person, so the decorations in the place where the party is held shouldn’t be much gorgeous. Matsushita Konosuke is said to be a light eater and have quarreled with his wife about the amount of a meal she served. So, we should be careful not to serve him much food! Anyway, we will serve good American and Japanese food.

Impression

WANDERERS
          After I finished watching the short movie “WANDERERS” that was made by Eric Wernquist, Swedish digital designer, I felted vast feeling and desire to know unknown things for example outer space. Although I have never thought like these, I thought so from the bottom of my heart.
         

       The short movie “WANDERERS” described unknown world, outer space, very beautifully and attractively and aroused my curiosity. The picture of “WANDERES” is incredibly beautiful. Of course I think the pictures of WANDERERS’s movie are probably fiction. But there are a lot of real pictures. That is fantastic for me. I think that is the most beautiful picture of outer space that I have ever seen. I was often absorb in these. So I little dreamed these pictures are real.
         

         I was also interested in the fictional pictures. That is because these pictures are including the imagination of the way how human live and survive in the outer space. For example, there was the picture that imagine how to live in outer space with creating artificial gravity. And there was the picture that human are flying freely near the cliff. These imagination are quite interesting. I do not know if these imagination can be realized or not. But because I have never encounter these idea, these ideas are quite interesting for me and arouse my curiosity.
        

         And I thought the short movie promote my curiosity to unknown things. Throughout this short movie there are factors that arouse our curiosity. What I told are also these things. A lot of beautiful and mysterious pictures and imagination arouse me. And these things are very match with poem. The sentence “We invest far-off places with a certain romance” and the word that said by Herman Melville “I am tormented with an everlasting itch for things remote. I love to sail forbidden seas...” are my favorite words. That is because these part arouse my curiosity particularly and made me make up my mind to still be one of wanderer.

How to order at Starbucks

    I worried about what topic should I pick up long time, finally I will tell how to order at Starbucks. That’s because in university of Tsukuba there is a brunch of Starbucks, and a lot of students use it and enjoy it. So I think if I tell how to order at Starbucks, people will be able to enjoy it more. That’s why I decided to tell how to order at Starbucks.

     At first, I will tell you about basic information about Starbucks. In Japan, we can use and enjoy Starbucks all prefecture except Tottori. Japan has more than ten hundred branches of Starbucks. And Tokyo and Okinawa have brunches of Starbucks particularly. And there are brunches of Starbucks all over the world. So you can try my talking things a lot of place.

      Next I will tell you about drink. Starbucks has a lot of kinds of drinks, and sizes. There are Short, Tall, Grande and Venti size in Japan. Short size has 236ml, Tall size has 354ml, Grande size has 473 ml and Venti size has 591 ml. In addition, it will be tall size’s price and Grande size’s price are different by 40 yen. Next I will tell you how to order your favorite drinks. When you order, first you should say the size, and next should say what you would like to drink, next you order what you would like to customize. That’s because above process is used by server actually. So if you can order above process, you can tell the order smoothly. I recommend it. 

   
      Next I will tell you about how to customize. Starbucks has a lot of kinds of customize menu. There are not only topping that order by extra charge, but also there are free topping. For example, you can order caramel and chocolate sauce. You can also increase and decrease powder (for example green tea powder) that already have been ingredient.  Look like this you can increase and decrease the inherent ingredient for example you can change drink non caffeine, change the quantity of whip cream. And you also can change normal milk for non-fat milk and low fat milk for free. And you can also condiment bar for free. The condiment bar is held nearby casher, and there are all kinds of powders and honey. You can use these by yourself.

    Of course there are topping that can order by extra charge. If you would like to plus topping that is not innate, you will be charged extra money. For example if you order green tea latte, and if you want to chocolate chip you will be charged extra money. Nevertheless you can change milk for all milk, and increase green tea powder for free. (Starbucks latte use water and milk one to one.) So if you would like to drink that match you, I recommend that use free and not free topping.

     
     Last, I will tell you two drink that I really recommend. One is the green tea latte that change milk for all milk. That drink is very sweet. I recommend this for who like green tea and sweet food. The other is also green tea. That is green tea Frappuccino that plus chocolate cookie and caramel sauce, and increase green tea powder and whip cream. That is also very sweet. But I like this very much and would like to share it.
